The Associates.

The Associates,Boys Keep Swinging.1979.
Yes the Bowie classic as done by The Associates. In fact this was their first single. But it did get them a record deal. Not a bad version,It has a certain charm and Billy voice is great, much better than the Susanna Hoffs (from The Bangles)version I have also posted.Although I did like the title of the album it comes from,When Your A Boy.1991.
But both pale away when you listen to the original from Bowie´s brilliant album Lodger,1979.Do you remember the fantastic video too with Bowie in drag. After it was shown on Top Of The Pops, the song went down the charts.Should of been No1.Also I remember Bowie on the Kenny Everet show performing this track.
