I just discovered your new blog, Off The Record, last weekend and felt like a kid in a candy store! You have very similar musical taste to me and your blog is introducing me to so many bands from the 80's that I never heard of and absolutely love.

So many fantastic finds, stuff I been looking for like forever, especially the Bowie-related stuff. Brett Smiley was a mindblowing discovery together with many of the more obscure bands you presented on your blog. One thing I'm curious of is a cover by Billy Bragg of David Bowie's Ziggy-song Star. You see, I'm compiling a cover-album of the Ziggy record song by song, and I think that would fill that slot nicely. I don't suppose you do requests but if you find it, please post it! You're blog is a life saver. Keep up the good work.

Sorry I havnt the Billy Bragg version of Star,I have looked all over the web but can only find it on a DVD. If one day I find it I will post on my other blog.( I would love to hear it too )
